Seasoned actress and media executive Charo Santos marked a new milestone as she celebrated her 70th birthday, expressing heartfelt gratitude and joy for her life’s journey.
On Instagram, the FPJ’s Batang Quiapo star shared how she felt reaching the age of 70, reflecting on the blessings and experiences that shaped her over the years.
“Maraming salamat sa lahat ng bumati at nagpaabot ng pagmamahal sa aking kaarawan. My heart is full. 💖,” she wrote.
“Seventy… such a beautiful number. Not a count of years passed but of blessings lived. Every wrinkle, every laugh line, every scar… each one tells a story of love, courage, and grace,” she added.
Charo also expressed her gratitude to everyone who has been part of her journey through the years.
“I am grateful for family who ground me, friends who lift me, colleagues who inspire me, and audiences who continue to walk with me through every chapter,” she expressed.
For the FPJ’s Batang Quiapo actress, turning 70 marks a new beginning—a time to embrace deeper joys, new dreams, and more meaningful connections.

In a previous interview with Karmina Constantino-Torres on KC After Hours, Charo opened up about how her strong faith has helped her face challenges in both her personal and professional life.
"Maybe a strong sense of faith that everything will be fine, that the only way to live life is to face everything head on. Gusto kong mabuhay. Gusto kong makilala kung papaano 'yung mabuhay and the only way you do that is face it head on," she remarked.

"[That] I am enough, surrounded by my children, and my grandchildren, and the people who truly care for me. That I have served well, that I have brought inspiration and positivity to a lot of people. That I have been a good mentor. I think there's a heart of a teacher in me. I love to share stories of my own failures, my struggles, the lessons I learned.
