Kapuso broadcaster and showbiz personality Kuya Kim Atienza shared that they are planning to hold a wake for their daughter, Emman Atienza, in Manila. The celebrity dad made this announcement through a post on his Facebook account earlier this week.
Emman was in another country at the time of her passing–– she was only 19 years old.

“Thank you so much for all the messages of comfort to the family. We may not be able to reply but we appreciate you all,” he wrote in his caption.
Details about the wake will be announced as soon as everything has been settled, according to the family. The Kapuso broadcaster assured everyone concerned about his daughter that she will be back home in Manila.
“Emman will be home,” he ended.

Words of support and encouragement flooded the comment section of his post. Netizens continue to show their empathy towards the grieving family as they share how the life of the late celebrity daughter made an impact in their own lives.
“I won’t tell you it gets easier, but I will tell you that you can survive this. And on the days you can’t believe that for yourself, believe that I do — because I’ve been there, and I’m still here,” a fan wrote.
“Your daughter is such a brave woman. After everything she went through, she was still able to be the light to people and she's the description of "kindness" herself,” another fan added.

It was back on October 24 when the family announced the unfortunate passing of Emman.
“She brought so much joy, laughter, and love into our lives and into the lives of everyone who knew her. Emman had a way of making people feel seen and heard, and she wasn’t afraid to share her own journey with mental health. Her authenticity helped so many feel less alone,” the family previously shared.
