MANILA -- Eliana Atienza turned to social media to express her pain over the death of her sister, content creator Emmanuelle "Emman" Atienza.
In an Instagram post, Eliana penned a message of mourning, love and longing for Emman, 19, with photos of them through the years.
"I miss you, Emman, with everything that I am and will ever be. I see you in the sunlight between the tree canopy and in the endless stars I know must be there, hidden by city lights," Eliana wrote.
"We were supposed to co-create a better world where our children could play together, and we could laugh knowing we fought and struggled to build this for them. I hope this message reaches you wherever you are. Call me soon, okay?" she added.
Emman was the youngest child of media personality Kim Atienza and wife Felicia.
Their family confirmed the passing of Emman last week, without disclosing her cause of death.
