Kapamilya actress Bela Padilla recently took to social media to share highlights from her memorable getaway to Greece with her “London friends,” which included her ex-boyfriend Norman Bay.
On Instagram, Bela posted photos from her quick trip, where she also met with friends and attended a special screening of her film 100 Awit Para Kay Stella in Athens.
“Flew to Greece for a quick trip with my London constants, @nocir @allbari1 and @iam__jsam and also my nephew @louisalexandermay and his lovely girlfriend, @flora.fraser to watch 100 Tula and 100 Awit Para Kay Stella with our Kapamilyas in Athens!” Bela wrote.
Bela expressed happiness at having the chance to spend time with her closest friends even just for four days, saying: “We had great food, wine and company and made the most out of our 4 days there!”
She went on: “Thank you for hosting us, @may_layno15 and to our ambassador, his excellency Giovanni Palec, and his family for being at the screening and supporting Filipino movies 💕 swipe till the end to hear the reactions in the cinema for one of my favorite scenes!! 🙈.”
Aside from sightseeing, Bela also hosted a Filipino-style boodle fight for her friends in London, with help from Norman.
“My London boodle fight 2025!” Bela wrote in a photo caption on her Instagram story.
The actress shared moments from her preparations for the boodle fight, a first-time experience for some of her friends.
“The flour bag apron is a cute little purchase from 2021 in Makati! I love anything upcycled/repurposed but still cute,” Bela shared as she was seen wearing the apron while preparing the table for their food.
“And with the help of (Norman Bay) (sous chef for theday) and @nicolemouawad and @allbari1 set up my table!” she said. “No banana leaves so we had to use cling wrap. Will [look] for better alternative for next time!”
Bela also reposted photos captured by friends as she revealed that her love language is preparing food.
Her friends also posted snaps from the get-together, praising Bela’s efforts to make the Filipino feast both fun and meaningful.
“She makes movies. But she also makes her own buffet. Bela made this nutrition approved Filipino budol fight high in protein but also more importantly high in social bonding, Eating it is a social experience which also nurtures our relationships,” Bela’s friend wrote.
Norman also reposted a photo, writing, “We did it, Chef Bela!”
The posts quickly drew attention from fans, many wondering if Bela and Norman had rekindled their romance.
“Norman and Bela don't play with my feelings lol whatever is the real score between you two it's so nice to see you two together ❤️” a netizen commented.
Another one shared, “I know you and Norman have the same circle of friends in London, but hoping for a one more chance to your love relationship, @bela 😍😍.”
However, Bela was quick to clear things up. When a follower asked, “Nagkabalikan ba kayo Bela? Sumagot ka!” to which the actress simply replied: “no :).”
In a previous interview with Karen Davila, Bela shared that her breakup with Norman was mainly due to her decision to move back to the Philippines. She said the two had a mature conversation about their future, and when they realized they wanted to live in different countries, they decided to part ways.
The actress explained that Norman has a successful career in London, and she respected his decision to stay there.

Although the breakup was painful, Bela said she and Norman have remained close friends and continue to talk regularly. She shared that Norman even visited her on the set of her film last May.
