Kapamilya actor John Estrada broke his silence earlier this week to deny the rumors linking him to Kapamilya actress Barbie Imperial. The Batang Quiapo star shared in his personal Instagram account that he had no idea where the rumor began and maintained that he has no relationship with the actress.
Several social media accounts have shared misinformation that the reason why Barbie is no longer in Batang Quiapo was because of John.

On his Instagram post, John called it out as fake news and revealed that he had never spoken to Barbie despite being on the same show.
“Hindi ko po kilala si Barbie Imperial, kilala ko sya bilang isang artista pero hindi po sa personal na lebel, sa talam buhay ko,” he stated.
The Kapamilya actor added that he only saw the actress several years ago during a Christmas special of the network. He shrugged off the fake news being circulated on social media and maintained he never was in communication with the Kapamilya actress.
“Totoo po mag kasama kame sa Batang Quiapo pero ni minsan e HINDI kame nagkita dahil po iba ang grupo nya, unit, at direktor nya, kung sino man nag simula nito e puede ka maging komedyante,” he added.
John urged everyone to research thoroughly about things they see on social media before believing them.
“Sa mga online newspaper, o tabloid or tsismis sites, e bago nyo cguro ilabas ang isang bagay e mag research naman kayo kung merong kahit na 0.1 percent na katotohanan, yun lang po at maraming salamat,” he ended.

John has turned off the comment section of his post as of writing.
Previously, ABS-CBN had denied that the actress was no longer in the hit primetime action series and maintained that she will continue her role as Tisay.
“There is no truth to the rumors that Barbie Imperial is no longer part of FPJ’s Batang Quiapo. Barbie, Coco Martin, and the production team openly communicate with each other, and she remains committed to the series,” the statement previously read.
