Ria Atayde and Zanjoe Marudo
Celebrity couple Ria Atayde and Zanjoe Marudo had a post-Valentine's surprise when they announced their engagement on February 20. Ria shared a couple photos of herself and Zanjoe and her engagement ring.
“Forever sounds good 🤍💍,” the Kapamilya actress wrote, which Zanjoe replied, “And tastes even better ❤.”
The couple have known each other since working together on the ABS-CBN drama My Dear Heart in 2017 and became good friends. They later on confirmed that they were dating following months of romance rumors surrounding the two in January 2023.

Ria and Zanjoe eventually tied the knot the following month and welcomed their first son in September.

Leila Alcasid and Curtismith
Leila Alcasid received a special anniversary gift from her partner, indie singer and rapper Curtismith, when he proposed to her in September. The couple happily shared the news, showing off Leila's engagement ring.
Leila's father, OPM singer and songwriter Ogie Alcasid, also expressed his excitement for their new journey.
Leila first confirmed her relationship with Curtismith (real name Mito Fabie) in a 2019 interview with PUSH, where she revealed that he was the first Filipino man she had ever dated. Before getting engaged, Leila and Mito chose to live together during the pandemic.

Ryan Bang and Paola Huyong
It’s Showtime Ryan Bang took his relationship with non-showbiz girlfriend Paola Huyong to the next level by proposing to her on June 29. This came eight months after they publicly announced their relationship in October 2023.
Ryan shared a vlog of the surprise proposal, where he chose Paolo's coffee shop as the location.
"Siyempre sobra ako kinabahan. Grabe tibok ng puso ko. Birthday ng Kuya niya. Yung last year kasi June 20, may na-upload kami vlog sa Pop-up store niya. Ngayon may coffee shop siya, baby niya. First store, I wanted to propose there. Kunware nag vlo-vlog. Closing spiels ako, siya. Tas habang nag spiels ako— lumuhod na ako. Pag harap niya may singsing na 'to," Ryan recalled.

Ryan’s fellow noontime show hosts then congratulated him on embarking a new journey, especially his "mommy" Vice Ganda who turned emotional for Ryan.
Ryan also hopes to hold their wedding in the Philippines and in Korea.

Edgar Allan Guzman and Shaira Diaz
Celebrity couple Edgar Allan Guzman and Shaira Diaz surprised fans in 2024 by revealing their engagement, which actually took place on December 25, 2021.
In February 2024, the couple shared that they had kept their engagement a secret for nearly three years, choosing to announce the news now.
Edgar Allan, also known as EA, explained that he respected Shaira’s decision to wait for the "right time" to go public.
“I respect Shaira a lot. So nirespect ko lang yung time niya, so I know na kapag nagpropose ako baka mag-no siya sa akin pero naniwala ako sa pagmamahal niya and alam niya na kapag nagpropose ako sa kaniya at nag-yes siya, I’m willing to wait,” the actor said.
Shaira further explained, “Kasi sa totoo lang ngayon ko lang nafeel na ready na ready na ako. Ready na ako gumawa ng pamilya in the future, makasama siya habang buhay. So, sobrang ready na ako. Gusto ko na ipagsigawan sa mundo kung gaano kami nagmamahal, kung gaano ko siya kamahal.”

Zeinab Harake and Bobby Ray Parks Jr.
Content creator Zeinab Harake and basketball player Bobby Ray Parks Jr. surprised fans with their engagement announcement on July 7.
In a heartfelt vlog, Bobby proposed to Zeinab in front of their family and friends, including her two children, Lucas and Bia.
"I am truly blessed to call you my best friend, my lover, and my biggest supporter and I hope that you feel the same way towards me," the basketball player expressed. “You and the kids are my home and I can't imagine life without y'all. With that I brought all of our friends, family, and loved ones here today to bear witness and ask you one thing. Zeinab Harake, would you make me the happiest man in the world? Will you marry me?" he added.

Zeinab also shared her thoughts on their dream wedding, saying, "Actually ako ang dream wedding ko is kung gaano naging kabongga ang proposal, ayaw ko naman na ganun ka-bongga, gusto ko ano lang 'yung mararamdaman natin 'yung pagiging intimate nung love mas mangingibabaw kaysa 'yung dami ng tao.”
The couple also revealed that they are planning their wedding for 2025.

Jerald Napoles and Kim Molina
Celebrity couple Kim Molina and Jerald Napoles reached a new milestone in their relationship by officially getting engaged. Jerald proposed to Kim on August 11 at the PETA Theater Center in Quezon City, where their love story began a decade ago.
Jerald recreated the set of the theater play Rak of Aegis, where they first met and fell in love. Family and close friends from both the theater and television industry were present for the intimate proposal.

The couple, who have been dating for almost eight years, got engaged in Tokyo, Japan. They have also become each other's greatest supporters and cheerleaders.
