MANILA -- Kapamilya love team Maris Racal and Anthony Jennings graced the ivory carpet of Star Magical Prom 2024 on Thursday together.
In an interview, the two shared the secret of their successful chemistry in the hit primetime series "Can't Buy Me Love," starring Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano.
"Baka may magic lang," Jennings said. "Tapos memorize your lines," Racal added.
Jennings and Racal also shared that if they were to choose, they will choose "MariThony" as the name of their love team.
"Para buong-buo," Jennings said. "MariThony parang catchy siya, Maris-Anthony, MariThony ang cute eh," Racal said.
"Pero MaThon tayo ngayon," Jennings stressed. "MaThon 'yung official name," Racal added.
Viewers and netizens gushed over the unexpected tandem of Racal and Jennings in "Can't Buy Me Love" as Irene and Snoop.
In the interview, the two also expressed their happiness over the netizens' reaction to their love team.
"Kami sobrang natutuwa sa mga reaction ng netizens, ng casual viewers, hindi namin ito in-expect ito talaga. At dahil sa reaction nila mas nagiging excited kaming gawin ang mga eksena together at gandahan pa ang scenes," said Racal, who teased that she and Jennings will be doing "something."
