MANILA — Choco Mucho coach Dante Alinsunurin dispelled rumors that Fil-American playmaker Tia Andaya had already left the team.
Speaking at the sidelines of Allianz' thanksgiving event for the Rebisco squads on Wednesday in Makati, Alinsunurin assured that Andaya is still a Flying Titan and she was just on vacation in the U.S.
"Nagbakasyon lang siya kasi matagal na siyang 'di nakakauwi," he told reporters. "Still, nasa team pa rin siya."
The departure talks floated as the incoming sophomore saw limited action in the recent 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference.

Alinsunurin also stated that there was no leadership change during the off-season, as the team prepares for the 2026 PVL on Tour.
"Si Des [Cheng] pa rin," said the decorated UAAP champion mentor. "Same pa rin, kung sino 'yung leader namin, siya pa rin 'yung team captain namin."
