MANILA — Savi Davison dropped a 32-piece over Farm Fresh Foxies' heads in PLDT's 25-17, 23-25, 27-25, 21-25, 15-10 win in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference on Thursday at the Filoil Centre in San Juan.

With the triumph, the High Speed Hitters are now 5-1 in the standings, garnering 14 points.

Not just Davison tallied 28 attacks, three blocks, and one ace, she also did her part in the defense with 13 excellent receptions and 12 excellent digs, completing a triple-double night.

"'Yun din naman 'yung ni-ready namin from Japan training pala, na 'yun nga luxury naman talaga na nandiyan si Savi [Davison], pero gusto natin kahit papaano may katulong eh, isa [o] dalawa," said coach Rald Ricafort after the match.

Kim Kianna Dy followed through in the scoring with 19 points, while libero-captain Kath Arado guarded the floor with 29 excellent digs.

In the clinching frame, PLDT found the pull away with a 7-2 finishing kick, sparked by the Fil-Canadian star, firing four of those which came from kills.

Angge Alcantara suffered a service error after managing to nail an ace, 14-10, but Davison was there to secure the game-clinching spike to close out the match that lasted for nearly three hours.

But before that, the PLDT crew had to suffer a heartbreak in Set 4 at the 19-23 mark, where they were initially awarded a point, but was ultimately overturned after a Farm Fresh challenge—initially, a block touch challenge, but Alcantara was called with an overreach violation—to which the first referee justified as "nakita upon review" regarding that specific play.

Still, Ricafort and company emerged with the win, staying composed after the sequence.

"Well, siguro proud lang ako sa naging pagsagot namin dun sa challenge — 'yung maturity na sinasabi ko sa kanila tuwing may ganitong situations, sumakto today," said the mentor.

"Nandu'n lahat nung breaks, nandu'n lahat nung bad calls, lalo 'yung bad calls, nandu'n 'yung coming-from-behind tsaka ayun nga, mahirap 'yung fifth set eh. So, very happy kami na na-recover namin," he added.

On the other hand, the Foxies fell to 2-4 after the loss, although they showed promise against a contending team.

Royse Tubino had 17 points, Trisha Tubu chipped in 16 points, Ces Molina showed her two-way game with a triple double of 14 points, 12 excellent digs, and 15 excellent receptions.
