MANILA — Kim Kianna Dy is putting together an impressive run for PLDT in the 2026 PVL All-Filipino Conference.
The 30-year-old opposite spiker has been among the league’s top performers, ranking second in attacking with 97 spikes on 37.74 percent efficiency. She is also 11th in scoring with 118 points built on 97 kills, 18 blocks, and three aces, while placing 10th in blocking with 0.55 kill blocks per set.
As the High Speed Hitters push for another shot at history, Dy credited her renewed confidence to the support system around her.

"I guess it's me just getting used to playing again. Matagal na rin 'yung injury ko, so na-build up ko rin 'yung confidence ko coming into this tournament," Dy said after PLDT clinched a semifinals berth at the expense of Farm Fresh, 18-25, 25-23, 25-15, 25-22, on March 26 at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
"I guess yung support sa team, coaches, and 'yung supporters namin. They didn't give up on me," said Dy, who sat out for 559 days from PVL action to recover from a knee injury.
Dy also noted the team’s preparation heading into the conference as it is working wonders for the Rald Ricafort-mentored squad.
They are the first team to qualify for the semifinal round, and they finished first in the preliminaries with a 7-2 card.
"For me personally, I think we had a longer preparation before coming into this tournament—not just court-wise, but also physically," she said. "Nakatulong din yung nag-Japan kami as a team, not just inside the court but also outside. So magandang pangyayari."
PLDT now awaits the completion of the semifinal cast, with sister team Cignal also securing its spot in the next round.
