MANILA (UPDATED) — Farm Fresh flipped the script this time, avoiding another five-set loss in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference.
The Foxies, playing in their third straight five-setter, finally won by escaping Choco Mucho, 21-25, 25-22, 16-25, 25-18, 15-9, with Royse Tubino shining against her former team on Tuesday at the Filoil Centre in San Juan.
Tubino supplemented the Foxies' attack early in the fifth set before Trisha Tubu took over, as the latter checked Sisi Rondina on the net while dealing the clutch hits to power Farm Fresh to just its third win in seven matches.
"Siyempre happy ako para sa teammates ko, happy ako para sa team namin at pinagtrabahuhan talaga namin tong panalo namin," said Tubino during the postgame interview.
Tubu found the off-the-block kill that concluded the match, after notching two kill blocks on Rondina. Before that, it was Tubino who sparked a 6-2 run as she rotated to the front, accompanied by Choco Mucho sorry errors to the dismay of the Titans' fans in the San Juan venue.
Tubu shared what was Japanese mentor Koji Tsuzurabara's reminder to them ahead of today's match.

"Kanina po, tulad ng sinabi ni coach [Koji Tsuzurabara], hindi Choco Mucho yung kalaban namin—kalaban niyo yung sarili niyo, utak niyo, puso niyo," Tubu said.
"Thankfully, this game, 'di lang kami nanalo sa Choco Mucho—nanalo rin kami sa sarili namin," the Adamson University product added, who finished with 22 points, including six blocks.
Tubino registered 14 points and five excellent receptions, while Ces Molina had a triple-double night, listing 17 points, 13 excellent digs, and 13 excellent receptions.
On the other hand, Rondina and Kat Tolentino's 22-point performances were for naught as the Flying Titans saw their two-game win streak snapped.
Eya Laure, for her part, had 15 points and eight excellent digs in the loss.
