MANILA — PLDT was tested in the first two frames and then dominated the last one in its straight-set 25-23, 25-23, 25-13 victory over Zus Coffee in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) All-Filipino Conference on Saturday at the Filoil Centre in San Juan.
Jessey De Leon scored the High Speed Hitters' last two points—the game-clinching service ace, right after she found the drop kill over Thea Gagate's block—to secure PLDT's fourth win.
It was a bounce-back win for Rald Ricafort and company, who stumbled last time around against Cignal, 21-25, 19-25, 23-25.

"Siguro 'yung mindset lang talaga going into the game, na 'di 'yung may kailangan i-prove, pero 'yung babalik lang sa sistema namin, 'yung disiplina saka focus lang talaga kailangan," said Ricafort after the match.
Kim Kianna Dy earned Player of the Game nod after her 16-point performance built on 15 attacks and one block, while star spiker, Savi Davison, had 17 points, which was expected of her.

Their double-digit outputs proved to be enough, as the next scorer in the PLDT list was Alleiah Malaluan, who had seven points; De Leon finished with six markers; while Kim Fajardo tallied 18 excellent sets.
Meanwhile, the lone bright spot for Zus Coffee was veteran Jov Gonzaga, who had 10 points and six excellent digs, as they absorbed another loss, dropping to a 1-5 card.
