MANILA (UPDATED) — Creamline scored a 25-15, 25-18, 25-21 win over Zus Coffee on Friday to end the 2025 PVL Invitational preliminaries on a high note.
The Cool Smashers are on a mission to keep their podium streak alive which stretches to 18. And with the win, they gained a much-needed momentum entering the Final day on Sunday.
They will battle Chery Tiggo for the Invitational bronze medal.

Star spiker Jema Galanza Galanza showed the way for the pink-and-white jerseys, listing a triple-double of 18 points, 13 excellent receptions and 11 excellent digs in the quick triumph.
"Masaya and dagdag momentum lang din bago kami makapaglaro ulit sa bronze [medal match]. So, I think maganding practice din kumbagaya sa amin ito," said Galanza.
Fellow MVPs Alyssa Valdez and Michele Gumabao registered nine points each, as setter Kyle Negrito tallied 18 excellent sets, making the plays on the taraflex.
For the Thunderbelles' part, it was rookie AC Miner who led with 15 points, while Kate Santiago added nine points and six excellent receptions.
They ended the competition without a win in five games, although they played without their core of Thea Gagate, Jov Gonzaga, among others.
