MANILA — FIVB Executive Vice President and chief of Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) and Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) Ramon "Tats" Suzara assured on Wednesday that the country is prepared for the hosting of the Men's World Championship 2025 in September.
Speaking to reporters following the 32-nation tournament's campaign kickoff a month before it commences, Suzara shared that the Philippines is "ready," but echoed the need to promote it further to volleyball fans, even among those in the provinces.
"I think hosting the event, we are ready. We just need to push more promotions for the ticket sales, lalo 'yung mga matches na 'di pa masyadong popular," said Suzara.

"We need to promote [the MWCH 2025] more para sa mga provincial fans natin."
The top sports official said they plan to give "packages" to schools and local government units to ramp up the ticket sales of the event also paced by MWCH organizing committee co-chair and presidential son William Vincent Araneta Marcos.
"We need to promote it. We're giving special packages sa mga school, students, and lahat ng mga LGU," Suzara said.

The patron seating for the opening ceremony on September 12, when South Korean boy band BoyNextDoor is slated to perform, costs P14,000, while lower box seats are valued from P12,500 to P7,500.
Upper box seats range from P5,500 to P2,500, while general admission is at P1,500.
The Men's World Championship, which will run from Sept. 12 to 28, saw a remarkable launch at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall in Pasay, presenting to the Filipino public the coveted trophy, a PhilPost commemorative stamp, the tournament mascots, and the official anthem of the competition.
Titled "Electrifying," the official song was performed by Karencitta, a singer-songwriter from Cebu, for the first time.

"Kid Lat," "Koolog," and "Hataw"—the official mascots—were also unveiled during the Pasay event, as well as the official Mikasa ball with MWCH 2025 imprints all over.
Men's World Championship ambassador Eya Laure also led the induction of the volunteers who signed up to help for the love of the game.
Gracing the event were Suzara, sports executives Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) Chairman Patrick "Pato" Gregorio, Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) President Abraham "Bambol" Tolentino, among others.
