MANILA, Philippines – For the first time in the history of the Star Magic All-Star Games, men's volleyball was featured.
Men's volleyball made a remarkable debut in 2025, as it featured budding Kapamilya stars who are passionate about the game, as well as guest players who are also amazing in their craft.
Coincidentally, the country will also host the world championships of the sport in September this year.
Star Magic Smashers emerged as the winners after a hard-fought 23-25, 25-19, 16-14 three-set triumph over the Star Magic Aces.

Patrick Ramirez was named MVP after an eight-point performance built on seven attacks and one block. Marc Santiago grabbed Rookie of the Year honors after putting up five points, scattered through several scoring departments.
Guest Player JM Ronquillo topped the scoring list in his team with nine points, while Giles Torres chipped in eight markers.
Meanwhile, Rex Intal, pro player for the Aces, had 13 points, headlining all scorers in the match, while Bong Gonzales delivered 11 points.
