The 20-year-old Lady Falcon has this opportunity as she was named to the recently released 33-player ‘wishlist’ of which Alas Pilipinas invited for tryouts in preparations for their 2025 competitions.

“Thankful po kasi kasama po sa dream ko yun, makapag represent ng bansa natin, pero tryout pa lang naman po yun so hindi pa po sure,” commented Nitura following their defeat to Ateneo de Manila University on Saturday in UAAP Season 87 women’s volleyball.
“Kung will po talaga ni Lord, why not po?’ Nitura added.
The likes of Bella Belen, Angel Canino, Vanie Gandler, Eya Laure, Brooke Van Sickle, and Savi Davison were among the notable outside hitters who were also included in the list, and Nitura is excited for the chance to pick their brains.
“Lahat po sila [excited akong makasama], kasi lahat sila veterans,” she emphasized. “Alam kong marami akong matututunan mula sa kanila.”
“[Matututunan ko] kung paano sila maging kalmado sa loob ng court, at i-handle yung challenges on the court much better than how I handle things,” NItura furthered.
However, before she seizes the opportunity to don National colors, Nitura insisted that her top priority for now is helping Adamson get over the hump as they have now lost five of their last six outings.
“As of now, ang fino-focus ko po muna is yung season,” she said. “Pero nakaka-boost po siya ng confidence at morale, at mas nagiging motivated akong galingan pa kasi nakikita nila yung potensyal ko as a player.”
