MANILA, Philippines – Nxled finally recorded a win in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL).
The Chameleons, after losing in 15 games across conferences, entered the win column in the 2024-25 All-Filipino Conference by defeating Galeries, 25-20, 19-25, 25-14, 25-23, on Saturday at the PhilSports Arena in Pasig City.
Their last win was during the opener of the 2024 Reinforced Conference — also against Galeries.
Open hitter EJ Laure soared high, listing a game-high 19 points on 14 attacks and a whopping five blocks, including nine excellent digs and eight excellent receptions to pace the Chameleons.

"Siguro, mas gusto lang namin na may ma-prove," said Laure, who bared that she was shocked to see her final numbers.
Chiara Permentilla tallied 14 points and six excellent receptions, while May Luna-Lumahan added 12 markers to complete the supporting cast.

Meanwhile, Jho Maraguinot top-scored for the Lerma Giron-coached squad, registering 14 points on 11 attacks.
Nxled (1-8) has a chance to make it two wins in a row against Choco Mucho on Thursday, February 13, while Galeries (1-8) seeks daylight as it takes on current top two Petro Gazz on Saturday, Feb. 15.
