MANILA — Farm Fresh proved that it is one of the hottest teams right now in the Premier Volleyball League (PVL), extending its winning run to four games.
The Foxies punched a hard-fought 25-17, 25-23, 29-27 straight-set triumph against a gritty Chery Tiggo side in the 2025 PVL Reinforced Conference on Thursday at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City, keeping its huge momentum as they proceed to the quarterfinals.
With the win, the Alessandro Lodi-coached squad has a chance to clinch top seed for the first time in franchise history.
They are now tied with the idle Zus Coffee Thunderbelles with a 7-1 card, but seedings aren't exactly finalized up until the game later in the day between Petro Gazz and PLDT.
Sitting on a 2-0 lead, the Foxies weathered the onslaught of the Crossovers in Set 3. Ara Galang and Yuni Batista put Chery Tiggo at set point advantage four times since the 24-23 mark, but the Foxies have managed the knot the game every time, thanks to the sharp-hitting Farm Fresh import Eli Rousseaux.
And when it was their time to reach match point, the Foxies found the breaks in their favor -- a Batista hit that sailed out, to which the Crossovers challenged for block touch but wasn't successful, gifting Farm Fresh a 28-27 edge; and the game-winning mid-rally floor touch challenge by Lodi that silenced the Crossovers, concluding the match that lasted one hour and 37 minutes.

Rousseaux led three Farm Fresh players in twin-digit scoring, firing 20 points, as Ces Molina and Trisha Tubu tallied 14 and 13, respectively. Orchestrating that firepower was setter Alohi Robins-Hardy, who made the assists with 26 excellent sets.
On the other hand, Chery Tiggo ended its campaign with a 2-6 record, with Batista pacing their side with a match-high 28 points.
