RODRIGUEZ, Rizal — Choco Mucho gave Akari its fourth defeat before exiting the 2025 PVL Reinfored Conference.
The Flying Titans concluded their campaign in the year-ending import-laden tourney with a win by taking down playoffs-bound Akari, 25-23, 21-25, 25-23, 25-21, on Tuesday at the Ynares Center here.
They were already out of contention after the last playdate's result, when Petro Gazz thwarted Capital1.
The "Ube Nation" had to survive Annie Mitchem's 30-point explosion, that went with 22 excellent receptions and eight excellent digs.
Royse Tubino was in charge of today's offense, going with 20 points on 18 attacks and two aces and added 11 excellent digs and 11 excellent receptions, while import Marlee Smith had 18 points, as Choco Mucho had a 3-5 win-loss record.

Thang Ponce, Flying Titans' main libero, sat out the game as she grieves for a late family member. Bia General took over the defensive role with 24 excellent digs.
"Inaalay namin itong game sa kaniya. Para kay Thang 'tong game na 'to," expressed Tubino.
On the other hand, the Chargers finished with a 4-4 win-loss card and 12 points—enough for an assured quarters spot.
Aside from Mitchem, it was Eli Soyud who breached twin-digit scoring with 17 points, while defensive specialist Justine Jazareno had 26 excellent digs.
