MANILA, Philippines – It has been a while since fans last saw Kim Kianna Dy and Jolina dela Cruz on the PVL taraflex.
The volleyball stars were sidelined due to their respective knee injuries, and both are taking their time to full recovery.

At the sidelines of PVL's signing with a healthcare company on Tuesday, the former F2 Logistics stars detailed how they are taking it one step at a time, sharing that they do not have a specific "target date" for their return.
"[No specific timetable] kasi it’s hard to expect na we give a date and then biglang may mangyari and then we can’t play so surprise na lang," said Dy.
"Okay lang. Same din sa akin 'yung progress. Tina-trust lang namin 'yung process kasi hindi namin pwede madaliin," said Dela Cruz. "As of now, hindi kami nagbibigay ng target date."

Both are hoping to take advantage of the long season as they gear up for their much-anticipated comeback—fingers crossed, Dy and Dela Cruz could see action this conference.
"That’s what’s good [na hindi kami nira-rush] and not even for us, for all the players since the games aren’t dikit-dikit, close to each other, so it’s better for the recovery of the other players also," Dy said.

"Mas maganda siya na 5-6 months long, especially sa amin, like makakahabol din kami this season. Hindi rin naman kami nira-rush," Dela Cruz said.
Dy and Dela Cruz have gone their separate ways after their F2 era, joining PLDT and Farm Fresh, respectively.
Farm Fresh could use the services of the young hitter after going winless in two games, while PLDT, which enjoys a 2-0 record, could be boosted further by the 29-year-old fan favorite.
"It’s the longest I’ve been out and I’m very excited to spike my first game ball and help my team win," said Dy.
"Same sa 'kin, like never pa ako na-injure nang ganito katagal. Like, nag-stop nang gan'to katagal sa volleyball, kahit nung nasa La Salle, wala rin talaga ako naging injury. Hindi ako nag miss out ng trainings, especially ng games, so nakakapanibago 'yung ganito at the same time nakaka-excite na bumalik," said Dela Cruz.
