MANILA -- Filipino gymnast Carlos Yulo added to his growing list of achievements over the weekend, helping OAJLP Gymnastique capture the French Men's Artistic Gymnastics Championship title in the Top 12 Final held in Amiens, France.
Yulo and OAJLP Gymnastique clinched the gold medal and dethroned defending champions ASVG Vallauris in the prestigious team competition.
The double Olympic gold medalist scored 15.050 on floor and 14.250 on parallel bars.
"So proud of what we all did last night! Everyone gave their all and it really showed on the competition floor. A lot of stressful moments and pressure behind this win, which makes it even more special," Yulo said in an Instagram post.
"Really grateful for this team and everything we experienced together," he added.
