MANILA -- The Philippine Women's National Football Team will open its ASEAN MSIG Serenity Cup 2025 title defense against Timor-Leste next week.
The Filipinas will go up against Timor-Leste on August 7, 8:30 p.m. Philippine time at the Viet Tri Stadium, Phu Tho in Vietnam.
The Philippines is in Group B with Australia, Timor-Leste and Myanmar.

They will also face Australia once again in the group stage, a possible preview of its opening match in the 2026 AFC Women's Asia Cup.
In the 2022 edition of the tournament, the Filipinas beat the Under-23 squad of Australia, where they eventually won the title.
After Timor-Leste, the Philippines will face Australia on August 10 and Myanmar on August 13.
Hosts Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, and Cambodia are in Group A.
The top two teams in each group will move on to the knockout stage or the semifinals.
The ASEAN MSIG Serenity Cup 2025 will take place in the Vietnamese cities of Viet Tri and Hai Phong from August 6 to 19.
