Filipino prospect Andy Gemao. Handout photo.MANILA — Andy Gemao will represent the Philippines on the global stage after being selected to participate in the 19th edition of the adidas Eurocamp, the brand’s premier pre-draft basketball development camp set from June 5 to 7 in Treviso.
Widely regarded as one of the top pre-draft camps outside the United States, adidas Eurocamp gathers elite prospects aged 18 to 22 from Europe, the U.S., Latin America, Africa, Australia, and the Asia-Pacific region. The event also serves as a major platform for young talents to showcase their skills in front of NBA and EuroLeague coaches, scouts, and executives.
Gemao earned his selection after impressing at the adidas Tokyo Nations Camp earlier this year.
The Filipino guard has been part of adidas Philippines’ basketball program since 2023, when the company signed him as one of its youngest basketball athletes before his rise on the international stage. His inclusion in Eurocamp marks another milestone in his growing partnership with the brand and highlights adidas’ continued investment in developing Filipino basketball talent.
Adding to his momentum, Gemao recently received his first NCAA Division I offer from the Penn State Nittany Lions, further boosting his stock as one of the country’s top young prospects.

This year’s Eurocamp will also feature several NBA players and former camp standouts serving as mentors for the participants.
Among the confirmed guests are Franz Wagner of the Orlando Magic, Bogdan Bogdanović of the Los Angeles Clippers, and VJ Edgecombe of the Philadelphia 76ers.
The camp will be led by coaching director Bill Bayno and scouting director Gianluca Pascucci, while also featuring draft-eligible prospects, 3SSB athletes, NBL Next Stars, and top performers from the NextGen EuroLeague and other emerging basketball markets worldwide.
