MANILA – Barangay Ginebra may have secured a victory over the TNT Tropang 5G on Sunday, but head coach Tim Cone still gave credit to import Bol Bol for his massive scoring night.
The Gin Kings came out on top against the PBA Commissioner's Cup defending champions, 93-86, handing the Tropang 5G their third straight loss.

The TNT import left the court visibly frustrated after his 33 points and 10 rebounds were not enough to lift his team to victory.
Cone commended the Gin Kings for their defensive effort against Bol, but the former NBA player proved he is still a cut above the rest.
"Well, I mean, we feel like we played great defense against him and he still scores 33 points. It's like we held him to 33 points tonight," Cone said during the post-game press conference. "He's such a force in the game, especially here in our game."
"They talk about him so much in the NBA, too, when he's out there playing. Everybody's so thrilled to watch him play. We've had the honor to watch him play 12 games here now, and I just think it's an honor to have him in the country. It's just a real challenge to go up against him," he added.
The Ginebra mentor pointed out Bol's eagerness to end TNT's losing skid, despite the team having already qualified for the quarterfinals.
"You know, this was a non-bearing game, but he came to play. That's the kind of team and he's the kind of player that can just elevate their game for the playoffs," Cone said.
Bol and TNT will kick off quarterfinals action on Wednesday when they take on the twice-to-beat top seed NLEX Road Warriors at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.
Ginebra likewise holds a twice-to-beat edge against the Phoenix Fuel Masters in their playoffs clash on Friday at the same venue.
