MANILA — Barangay Ginebra has now won three games in a row — five in total — in the PBA Season 50 Commissioner's Cup.
This, as the hot-shooting Gin Kings thwarted Terrafirma, 113-103, on Saturday at the Ynares Center Montalban.
They leaned on a huge 35-21 third frame, which allowed Tim Cone's wards to pull away.

As usual, Justin Brownlee was the main gunner for Ginebra, converting five triples en route to a 28-point scoring output, to go with nine rebounds and three assists, while RJ Abarrientos and Stephen Holt contributed 17 markers each.
Scottie Thompson was the other Gin Kin in twin-digit scoring, listing 10 points as well as six assists and four rebounds.

Meanwhile, the Dyip absorbed their fifth straight loss, despite starting the conference strong and was a league-leader by then at 3-0.
Jerrick Ahanmisi led the sliding Terrafirma crew with 27 points, while Mubashar Ali was held to 14 points.
