TNT import Bol Bol in action. PBA ImagesMANILA — TNT import Bol Bol erupted for 50 points as the Tropang 5G rallied past Titan Ultra, 97-92, in the PBA Season 50 Commissioner's Cup on Saturday at the Ynares Center Montalban.
Trailing 78–73 with under eight minutes left in the fourth quarter, Bol ignited a decisive run to put TNT back on top for good, with former Chicago Bull Luol Deng watching on the sidelines.
The 26-year-old former NBA player sparked the surge with a three-pointer, followed by an and-one dunk to shift the momentum.
Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser joined the party with a dunk of his own, then Bol continued to do what he does best—converting back-to-back baskets for an 85-78 lead.

The Giant Risers threatened late, trimming the deficit to three, 95–92, behind a triple from Joshua Munzon with under a minute remaining. However, a costly foul by Fran Yu—despite his team already being in the penalty—sent Jayson Castro to the line. The veteran split his free throws for a 96–92 cushion.
Munzon had a chance to tie from beyond the arc but misfired, and a foul by Jerick Balanza sent Castro back to the stripe to seal the win.

Bol, aside from his scoring eruption, added 17 rebounds and four assists, while Rey Nambatac was the only local in double-digit output with 12 markers to go with seven rebounds.
With the win, TNT has now won three in a row, racking up victories after turning back Terrafirma and Blackwater.
For the losing side, Munzon and Michael Gilmore combined for 54 points, but that was put to waste as the Giant Risers absorbed their second straight loss.
