MANILA -- Mubashar Ali was unstoppable and Terrafirma recorded a second straight win in the PBA Season 50 Commissioner's Cup, outlasting Converge 111-100 in overtime on Saturday at the Ynares Center in Montalban.

Ali torched the FiberXers for 50 points on top of 25 rebounds. The import scored the game-tying lay-up with 16.8 seconds left in regulation, then guided the Dyip to the finish line in the extra period.

Jerrick Ahanmisi added 14 points while rookie center Geo Chiu had nine points, 13 rebounds, and two blocks.

An Ali three-pointer had given Terrafirma a 98-96 lead with 1:42 to go in the fourth quarter, and Converge's hopes of regaining the lead were dashed when Juan Gomez de Liano's three-pointer was nullified due to an offensive foul.

But Archie Concepcion completed a three-point play with 50.2 seconds left, putting the FiberXers ahead, 99-98. Terrafirma blew a series of chances, with Chiu twice missing from pointblank range.

The Dyip were forced to foul Gomez de Liano, who managed just one of two free throws. His miss at the line proved costly when Terrafirma ran a superb play out of a timeout that saw Ali get free along the baseline for the game-tying bucket.

Justine Baltazar proceeded to miss a potential game-winning three-pointer, and Terrafirma went on to outscore Converge 11-0 in the extra period to clinch the win.

The Dyip improved to 2-0 early in the conference, while Converge dropped to 1-1.

Import Kylor Kelley had 17 points, 22 rebounds, and six assists for the FiberXers, but was kept in check in the end game. Gomez de Liano finished with 17 points, six rebounds, and six dimes.
