MANILA (UPDATED) — The Macau Black Knights were given a rude welcome as Converge found the game-winning run to rise past the guest team, 102-94, in the PBA Season 50 Commissioner's Cup on Wednesday at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

Alec Stockton led a rally late in the game, sparking a 14-0 run from an 88-92 deficit that turned into a 102-92 advantage to notch the FiberXers' first win of the import-laced tournament.

“[Nag]-struggle kami sa first half and in the early part of the third quarter. Good thing, nag-step up pa rin lahat sa fourth quarter,” said Converge coach Delta Pineda, acknowledging his wards efforts in the clutch.

Mikey Williams also saw PBA action for the first time in around three years, entering in the final frame only, and dished three assists during his time on the court.

Converge had a balanced attack, led by Stockton who finished with 18 points, three rebounds, three assists, and six steals, and was given the Player of the Game nod.

Archie Concepcion had a decent night with 16 points, as twin towers Justin Arana and Justine Baltazar had 15-6 and 14-10 statlines, respectively. Jonnel Policarpio had 13 markers, and import Kylor Kelley had a double-double of 19 rebounds and 12 points, completing the Converge's performers on Tuesday night.

On the other hand, Jenning Leung paced the foreign side with 22 points and two four-point makes, as returning PBA import Tony Mitchell tallied 18 markers to go with 10 boards.
