The veteran floor general had an all-around game against his former Gilas Pilipinas teammate in Yokohama’s 79-75 victory over Nagasaki on Saturday at the Happiness Arena.
Ravena tallied 12 points, five assists, two rebounds, and a steal, to push their record to 11-17, while Edu finished with nine markers, seven boards, four dimes, two blocks, and a steal in their 14th defeat in 27 games.
Aside from Edu, Kai Sotto, Dwight Ramos, Ray Parks Jr., Matthew Wright, Roosevelt Adams, and Geo Chiu also were handed losses on Saturday.
Sotto delivered a 10-point, eight-rebound game with four assists for the Koshigaya Alphas, but they were tripped by Seahorses Mikawa, 89-54, at the Kariyashi Taiikukan.
This was the 19th defeat of the Alphas in 27 games, and they now sit in sixth place in the Eastern Division.
Ramos and Levanga Hokkaido, meanwhile, struggled against the Chiba Jets, 75-67, at the LaLa Arena Tokyo Bay.
The 6-foot-4 wingman only had a rebound in 12:46 minutes of action, and this was the least of their woes as they are now fifth in the Eastern Division with a 9-18 record.
Parks Jr., for his part, had 13 points, seven rebounds, and three assists, in Osaka Evessa’s latest outing against Kyoto Hannaryz, but these all went for naught as they fell, 78-75, at the Kataoka Arena Kyoto.
Osaka is now fourth in the Western Division due to their 14-13 standing.
Wright was also among the imports who had an all-around performance in their latest outing, posting 11 points, four rebounds, three assists, a steal, and a block, but there weren’t enough as the Kawasaki Brave Thunders were dominated by the Sendai 89ers, 82-61, at the Kawasaki Todoroki Arena.
This was the 21st loss of the Brave Thunders, and it sent them to eighthplace in the Central Division.
Adams and the Yamagata Wyverns were also on the losing end, falling to Veltex Shizuoka, 90-75, at the Hamamatsu Arena.
The former TerraFirma Dyip player posted 12 markers, six boards, and one dime, but they fell to fifth in the Eastern Division as they fell to 12-17 in the team standings.
Lastly, Chiu posted four points, five rebounds, and one block for the Ehime Orange Vikings, but they were defeated by Kagoshima Rebnise, 89-68, at the Iyo Citizen Gymnasium.
Following this bout, Ehime remained with only a solitary win in 29 games. They are seventh in the Western Division.
