MANILA -- The Lady Bulldogs claimed the UAAP Season 87 Women's Basketball title after defeating the University of Santo Tomas, 78-73, at the Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City, on Sunday.
This was the Lady Bulldogs' eighth women's basketball championship, and it came at the expense of the defending champion Tigresses who had ended their reign in Season 86.
