Stepping up for the Philippines’ defense department was Quincy Kammeraad who made five saves after subbing in for Patrick Deyto in the ninth minute due to an injury.
The Philippines will now face Group A’s leading team Thailand on December 27 at the Rizal Memorial Stadium, Manila for the first leg.
Philippine Football Federation National Director Freddy Gonzalez is very proud of the boys who pushed playing at the away game against the hometown crowd supporting Indonesia.
"We are back! We suffered there. Four games in nine days. Guys were gassed but powered through. Now we have five days rest and semis vs Thailand on the 27th!" said Gonzalez.
