MANILA — The driver of actress Rhian Ramos stands by his allegation he was physically harmed by actress Rhian Ramos, beauty queen Michelle Dee, and another beauty queen.

This, despite supposed proof presented by Dee’s camp showing she was in Iloilo on January 17, the day the three-day mauling allegedly started.

The complainant—identified as alias “Totoy”— claimed that Dee was present at the condominium where the alleged incident occurred at around 3:00 a.m., hours before her flight to Iloilo.

“Nung umuwi po kami ng January 17, mga 3 a.m., andun talaga sila—si Ma’am Michelle,” Totoy said, adding that Dee only left later that morning.

He also claimed he was not allowed to leave the condominium from January 17 to 19. He also clarified that his eye injury was caused by being pinched, not stabbed.

“Nagsasabi lang po ako ng totoo. Hindi po ako magsisinungaling,” he said.

Meanwhile, the lawyer of Dee and Ramos questioned the veracity of the claims, noting that no allegations of physical harm were raised during the driver’s inquest proceedings.

“Usually tinatanong yung mga ini-inquest kung sinaktan ka ba… pero wala ring manifestations,” said Atty. Maggie Garduque.

The National Bureau of Investigation confirmed that it is continuing its verification process.

“We have to check the credibility and the truthfulness of the statements being offered by the complainant,” NBI spokesperson Palmer Mallari said.

The agency added that subpoenas may be issued if evidence warrants further action.
