MANILA -- Philippine Airlines cancelled some flights to the Middle East as tensions flared in the area on Tuesday.
The country's flag carrier said the following flights were cancelled.

Meanwhile, budget carrier Cebu Pacific said its flight to Dubai would continue as scheduled.
"Our route does not fly over conflict-affected areas in the Middle East, allowing us to operate safely," the airline said in a statement.
Nevertheless, Cebu Pacific said it was offering flexible options—like free rebooking and travel fund conversion—for the peace of mind of its passengers booked on Dubai flights for June 24.
These options are available online up to two hours before the scheduled departure time, the airline said.
