Ever since "Coco Martin's Sigabo" premiered in June, viewers have seen its lead star, Coco Martin, take on one adrenaline-pumping action sequence after another, as his well-loved character, Gabriel "Gabo" Magtibay, figures in a number of conflicts and fights in pursuit of saving himself, his loved ones, and other people in danger.

Among Gabo's latest heroic feats is rescuing Manila Telebalita reporter Salvador Manalo, portrayed by Rey Campanilla, from a brutal ambush orchestrated by former PMGEN Ricardo Jacinto (Edu Manzano). After Salvador emerged as one of Ricardo's most outspoken critics, the former police general ordered PLTCOL Romulo Domingo (Art Acuña) to silence the journalist once and for all.

Since they cannot carry out themselves, Col. Domingo instructed his subordinate, PCPT Melchor Umali (Joko Diaz), to hire the notorious father-and-son duo Paquito (Rez Cortez) and Django (Jhong Hilario) to do the job. Of course, they accepted the contract in exchange for the huge monetary reward being offered to them. However, instead of Django doing it himself, he assigned the mission to their henchmen as a way to test their abilities and expose them to the group's way of doing things.

Just when his minions thought that they'd already accomplished their task after they managed to corner Salvador at an alley, drag him out of his car, and beat him up mercilessly, an unexpected hero suddenly arrived—and he was none other than Gabo.

On his way home from the hospital, Gabo happened to pass by the same alley and didn't hesitate to help Salvador. Despite being obviously outnumbered and armed with nothing more than brass knuckles and his exceptional fighting skills, Gabo fearlessly took on the attackers.

In the end, Gabo single-handedly defeated the armed assailants. Grateful for being saved, Salvador offered him money as a token of appreciation, which Gabo initially refused. But Salvador insisted, especially upon noticing the damage to the motorcycle he used, which he had recklessly thrown aside in his rush to come to the reporter's rescue.

To give viewers a deeper appreciation of the brief yet remarkable action-packed sequence, CCM Film Productions shared an exclusive behind-the-scenes video on social media, giving viewers a glimpse into the work that went into bringing the action to the screen.

The short reel also highlights Coco's hands-on approach both in front of and behind the camera. Aside from helping direct each action sequence alongside co-director Richard V. Somes, Coco is also seen performing his own stunts, showcasing his commitment to delivering authentic, high-impact action. Rey Campanilla and the stuntmen appeared in this particular sequence also did convincing performances, making the sequence even more thrilling.

Catch more pulse-pounding action from Coco as Gabo in "Coco Martin's Sigabo," airing weeknights at 8:00 PM on ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2, Kapamilya Channel, TV5, A2Z, and Kapamilya Online Live (KOL), or stream episodes anytime on iWant
