Director Theodore Boborol adds to the excitement with a behind-the-scenes vlog uploaded on July 31, giving fans a glimpse into the making of Season 2. From the story conference and script reading to look tests, the vlog showcases how the team prepared for another rollercoaster ride of thrills, romance, and unexpected moments with Hannah and Daniel.

Reunited with the cast during the story conference, Kei Kurosawa (Brenda Song) admitted that she was surprised to be part of the newest season. She teased fans to look forward to more intense fight scenes between Brenda and Hannah. Echoing her excitement, Meann Espinosa (Sabrina) shared, “I’m so excited, nabasa ko na rin ‘yung script. Ang saya.”

Bringing even more excitement to this iWant original series, new characters are introduced to add fresh twists and heighten the drama in the story. Pancake Hong takes on the role of Madame J, Jinho Bae plays Mr. Bang, and Gail Banawis portrays Yuna Raymundo, the General Manager of Dynasty Hotel.

Following the cast reunion, the vlog moved on to the script reading, where GeLex fully immersed themselves in their roles and brought their characters’ dialogues to life.

Alexa shared her excitement about continuing the story of “The Chambermaid’s Daughter.” Radiating happiness, she said, “I’m so excited na maitutuloy ang kwento ni Hannah at ni Daniel.” When asked if she expected to be paired with Gelo Rivera, Alexa said she did not, noting that Gelo was first introduced to many fans as a P-pop idol and member of the boy group BGYO.

On what fans can look forward to in Season 2, Alexa teased, “Syempre, more kilig, more kaguluhan. Kung natuwa na sila sa Season 1, ito, ia-amplify natin ‘yung feels sa Season 2.”

The vlog then moved on to the look test, where the cast fully stepped into character. Gelo impressed in his sharp suit as hotel COO Daniel Jeon, while Alexa showcased Hannah’s elevated style as the Song Dynasty heiress. Following the look test, viewers were treated to behind-the-scenes moments from the live announcement of “The Chambermaid’s Daughter” Season 2. GeLex posed together for a few shots, sparking kilig among fans as they shared the same frame.

Gelo later expressed his excitement about working on the new season, revealing that he was surprised by the renewal. “Thank you so much sa mga sumusuporta, lalo na sa partnership namin [ni Alexa] tsaka sa mga nagtitiwala around us. Na-miss ko rin si Daniel at Hannah,” he said.

Meanwhile, Alexa looked back on the fun they had while filming Season 1. “It was just so fun, kaya I was wishing na sana maulit, and ito na nga. Thank you po,” she shared. She also added that she hopes to explore more projects with Gelo in the future.
