Following his heart-to-heart conversation with his father, Rudy (Joey Marquez), Gabo (Coco Martin) stepped out of the recovery room. He sat outside to contemplate everything that had happened as his stepmother, Betchay (Irma Adlawan), his Aunt Mameng (Ces Quesada), and his Uncle Dante (Julio Diaz) arrived to check on Rudy and inform him that he could already be discharged that day.
While they were busy packing Rudy's belongings and preparing for his discharge, Gabo recalled the last moments he shared with his biological mother, Belinda (Cristine Reyes), who was brutally murdered by Ricardo Jacinto (Edu Manzano).
He was reminded of how he grew up longing for a mother's love and feeling that a part of him was missing because he had lost her at such a young age. What hurt him even more was that, to this day, she still had not received justice for what those police officers had done to her—a tragedy that has remained one of the greatest sources of pain and suffering in his life.
"Isinusumpa ko, makikilala ko rin sila. Hahanapin ko silang lahat. Ipaghihiganti ko ang ginawa nila sa nanay ko. Ipaparanas ko sa pamilya nila ang sakit at hirap na dinanas ko sa buhay ko. Uubusin ko sila. Uubusin ko pati ang pamilya nila!" Gabo vowed to himself.
