As he and his father, Rudy (Joey Marquez), continue to revisit the beautiful and tragic events in the past that shaped their lives at present, Gabo (Coco Martin) recalled how their home had once been filled with so much joy and love.
"'Yong saya ng bawat oras na magkakasama tayo, walang katumbas na saya at pagmamahal ang pinaramdam n'yo sa akin," Gabo uttered as he reminisced about the fun and unforgettable moments he shared with his beloved parents.
Before tragedy struck their family, the young Gabo (Gian Luca Geroue) enjoyed a happy childhood, with his parents, Rudy (Zanjoe Marudo) and Belinda (Cristine Reyes), playing with him and tucking him into bed every night. Between the two, Rudy appeared to be the stricter parent, as he reprimanded Gabo for punching the kids who bullied his playmates, while Belinda was the more lenient and nurturing one.
Although she also did not approve of Gabo taking matters into his own hands, Belinda instilled in him the importance of standing up for others and helping those in need. She also taught him to fight for himself and to never allow anyone to belittle or oppress him. To further prepare him in life, Rudy and Belinda enrolled Gabo in arnis, karate, and boxing training, through which he developed the impressive fighting skills he possesses and utilizes today.
Rudy and Belinda remained deeply in love throughout their eight years together, a love that the young Gabo witnessed and felt firsthand. On the day that would forever change their lives for the worse, Rudy shared a sweet and romantic moment with his beloved wife as they celebrated the anniversary of the day their paths first crossed, which inspired him not to give up in searching for the fortune that indeed helped him achieve the life he dreamt of for both Belinda and Gabo.
