“Will You Fake Marry Me” stars JM Ibarra and Fyang Smith enjoyed an exhilarating night of helping the Songbayanan earn additional seconds in the “Singko Blanko” Saturday jackpot round of “Everybody, Sing!” After working together to complete their team of chosen “repre-sing-tatives,” JMFyang took on a fun-filled game of “Song Association,” where they competed to see who could sing a song matching the given word prompt first.
Starting with the word “Gabi,” Fyang couldn’t resist belting out Regine Velasquez-Alcasid’s timeless track “Araw-Gabi,” perfectly singing along to the chorus of the 2004 hit.
With her competitive spirit on full display, Fyang quickly thought of Sam Concepcion’s 2013 song “Mahal Na Mahal” after hearing the word prompt “Mahal,” even closing her eyes as she recalled its melodic chorus.
When the word prompt “Smile” followed, the “Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11” Big Winner wasted no time hitting the memorable high note from the Grammy-winning collaboration “Die With A Smile” by pop icon Lady Gaga and American hitmaker Bruno Mars.
Despite holding a comfortable lead, Fyang seized the opportunity to answer first once again, paying tribute to TJ Monterde’s 2012 single “Ikaw at Ako” when the word “Ako” was given.
Ending the challenge on a high note, Fyang immediately brought up the classic “Happy Birthday” song after hearing the word prompt “Happy,” dominating the game with a perfect 5–0 score. Still enjoying the moment, JM admitted defeat and quipped, “Talo, talaga ‘ko guys.”
