Over the course of 14 years, “Goin’ Bulilit” transformed into an important venue that welcomed plenty of aspiring child stars to develop their talents, including 9-year-old Kathryn Bernardo, who readily engaged in humorous as well as expressive skits.

Even before starring in major roles such as the resilient Mara in “Mara Clara,” the hard-working Yna in “Pangako sa ’Yo,” the devoted George in “The Hows of Us,” and the career-driven Gab in “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” Kathryn had already showcased her charismatic personality when she had her first on-screen wedding with fellow child star John Manalo. In that moment, the way that she delivered her lines and collaborated with her colleague proved that she had her sights on maximizing her potential.

At the present time, Kathryn has grown more experienced in the art of portraying characters from multiple genres, among them horror and fantasy. Having played notable roles in “Pagpag: Siyam na Buhay,” “La Luna Sangre,” “Princess and I,” and “Super Inggo,” it would be an absolute joy for Kapamilyas to remember the entertaining “Goin’ Bulilit” holiday episodes, which featured her as an outspoken ‘aswang’ along with being a member of Santa’s diligent elves together with Julia Montes.

Adding to her rising stardom, Kathryn also impersonated Pop Rock Royalty Yeng Constantino during an equally artistic and memorable version of the “Time In” music video. Her soft singing tone and lively personality undoubtedly delighted Kapamilyas.

Embodying relatable characters also turned out to be an easy task for the young actress, especially in the scenes where she offered a wise advice for her neighbor, Julia, regarding home security. Kathryn accurately represented a hot-headed resident, calling out the thieves in their community.

Moreover, on a train ride, little Kathryn reminded her dear friend, Miles Ocampo to watch over her belongings during rush hour, which led to Miles being unaware that she had lost her own child even before she stepped inside the vehicle.

Kathryn also took on the role of a field reporter, interviewing Yong An Chiu, who portrayed a supposedly honest governor. Quickly, the skit reached a hilarious conclusion with Tita Glue (Mikylla Ramirez), unintentionally exposing his true motives with the 500,000 cash gift.

When she graduated from the television show in 2008, the Kapamilya actress sweetly encouraged her emotional juniors to do their best and enjoy the journey.

Just over eight years after graduating, in September 2016, an adult Kathryn made a special guest appearance on the “Focus” segment in “Goin’ Bulilit.” Initially featured to promote her movie, “Barcelona: A Love Untold,” with Clarence Delgado as the host, Kathryn took part in the fun of teasing Josh de Guzman’s character, who had an extra ear forming on his forehead.

This July 2026, the Asia’s Superstar is showing more of her critically acclaimed reputation, taking a new lead in “Someone, Someday” alongside the Multimedia Prince James Reid. Within the narrative, she serves as the protagonist Billy, an independent woman committed to her profession as the celebrated CEO of Love List, a dating platform designed to inspire fellow women in their search for true love.

Besides that, Billy cares deeply about raising her younger brother Oliver (Migs Casimiro), as well as defending her sincere friendship with James’ character, Jordan. Hints of a deeper story can also be noticed, with Kathryn turning out to be a fearless individual against the ones who betrayed her.

Experience the awaited introduction of Kathryn’s latest role as Billy in “Someone, Someday,” kicking off on July 27 at 8:45 PM on ALLTV2, TV5, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, and Kapamilya Online Live on Facebook and YouTube. It will also be available on TFC, iWant on July 25, and Netflix starting on July 24.
