The resurgence of "Randomantic" actually says a lot about James' star power. He may occasionally step away from acting to explore new passions, yet every time he returns, audiences welcome him back like an old crush they never got over.
Now he's ready to make hearts flutter all over again as he returns to the teleserye arena in "Someone, Someday." With this series, James is once again set to prove that romance is part of his artistic DNA.
And in a twist no one thought would actually happen outside of fan edits, he is finally teaming up with Asia's Superstar Kathryn Bernardo as the series’ leads.
While the trailer isn't giving away too much of the intricate plot, it does leave us intrigued by the dynamic between their characters—childhood best friends who seemingly harbor feelings for each other. The scenes that paint James as Kathryn's ride-or-die already have us sold on their chemistry, which is exactly the kind of magic James has become known for as a leading man.
