Tension-filled situations have always been present in every single episode of “Blood vs Duty,” particularly between the strong-willed Agent Marcus Reyes (Richard Gutierrez) and the indomitable Jalil Abubakar (Gerald Anderson).
Behind their disputes, a forgotten truth awaits them, the lost brotherhood that Marcus yearned for ever since the loss of his sibling Gabriel in a maritime incident during their childhood. Gabriel then actually washed up on the shore of Isla Damai and grew up as Jalil.
Teasing even more of this emotionally charged reunion between the separated brothers, JRB Creative Production posted several candid photos of “Blood vs Duty” leads Richard Gutierrez and Gerald Anderson enjoying their playful and professional moments on the set.
In the first two snaps, Richard and Gerald sat at the opposite ends of a couch, still sporting their character-defining outfits, and evidently shared hearty laughs with one another. JRB Creative Production made it more entertaining with the caption hinting at their characters’ journey from enemies to brothers.

Prior to this, the two Kapamilya actors also delighted in the good vibes while filming the Metal 13 arc, which was also the first time that their characters, Marcus and Jalil (as Major Allan Espina), worked together against a common foe.

Apart from the fun times, both actors took every opportunity to showcase their acting skills and knowledge of action stunts. Once again in the Metal 13 episode, Richard and Gerald wore their striking tactical gears and seemed to be talking about angles for filming.

Similarly, Gerald and Richard made sure to meticulously practice their precise movements while battling each other at Isla Damai during Task Force Alpha’s compromised mission.

Be on the lookout for more intense joint actions by Gerald and Richard in “Blood vs Duty,” streaming on iWant and airing weeknights at 8pm on ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, and Kapamilya Online Live (KOL).
