Equipped with a pair of bolos and seething with rage, Gabo (Coco Martin) stormed toward the place of his longtime nemesis Django (Jhong Hilario) as he resolutely accepted his challenge for a one-on-one showdown.
Gabo was initially accompanied by his family and friends—all armed with their chosen weapons—but he told them not to follow him any further as soon as they reached the destination. Shock was painted onto the faces of Django’s companions as Gabo’s booming, furious voice echoed throughout the area as he called out for Django, who greeted him with sarcasm.
As Django shouted, “Kayo na ang bahala diyan!” his minions charged at Gabo one by one, but none of them were able to bring him down. After single-handedly taking down his entire army—except for Tolits (Jerald Napoles), Binoy (Nikko Natividad), and Daboy (Mammoth Estroso), who all chose to hide out of fear of being implicated in the conflict—Gabo finally went for Django, and a ferocious scuffle erupted between them.
Driven by anger and resentment, Gabo relentlessly beat Django up until he was nearly knocked out, eventually throwing him off the stairs. His father, Rudy (Joey Marquez), together with his friends, arrived shortly after to stop him and escort him out of the scene before Django’s equally ruthless father, Paquito (Rez Cortez), could catch up with them.
Upon exiting Django’s den, Gabo’s friends Bong (Smugglaz) and Ipe (Bassilyo) related to their neighbors what had just happened and raised his both arms as they declared him the “Bagong
Hari ng Ginintuang Lupa!” Despite his victory, Gabo appeared far from satisfied as he furiously walked away, with their neighbors cheering for him.
