Building on their façade of being in a relationship, Stella (Kim Chiu) and Vincent (Paulo Avelino) develop a close connection as they uncover the truth behind Walter’s (Sam Milby) case. Acting as each other’s alibi, their arrangement also places them in a series of situations where they must convince those around them that their romance is real.
And just when the tension between them reaches its peak, the story shifts into moments that blur the line between performance and reality, drawing us even closer to their chemistry. Take a look back at the five best kissing scenes of Stella and Vincent in “The Alibi.”
1. Against all odds
Stella was brought to Arthur’s (John Arcilla) house, where he and Jacqueline (Zsa Zsa Padilla) attempt to convince her to stay away from Vincent. When she asks what he wants from her, Arthur reveals that he knows about her background and bluntly offers her money to leave Vincent alone.
As Stella considers Arthur’s offer, their conversation is abruptly interrupted when Vincent arrives to confront his parents. Jacqueline and Arthur explain their intentions, but Vincent boldly declares his love for Stella and kisses her in front of them. He then warns his parents not to interfere with her life again.
2. Lost in the moment
Before Claudia can take advantage of him, Stella arrives and saves Vincent. Later, she helps him into his car and tends to him as he regains his composure, while Vincent gazes at her. Comforted by Stella’s presence, Vincent leans in without hesitation and kisses her passionately. Stella pulls away, insisting that he forget what happened, though Vincent refuses to let it go.
3. Convincing Matthew
Stella and Vincent part ways as Stella wishes to return home to her family. Vincent offers to drive her, but Stella insists on going by herself. As they talk, Matthew (Rafael Rosell) watches them closely. He wonders whether Stella and Vincent will share a goodnight kiss, which could expose their fake dating arrangement. To throw Matthew off, Stella kisses Vincent sweetly, only to find herself growing fond of him.
4. The kiss act
Bringing food home for Matthew and Vincent, Stella greets Vincent and tells him about the meal she has prepared for them. Matthew is delighted and enjoys his lunch while quietly observing Vincent and Stella. Noticing his gaze, Vincent pulls Stella in for a kiss, catching her off guard. Stella quickly understands his intention and plays along with his act.
5. Alibi tested
To further deceive Matthew about their relationship, Stella drags Vincent upstairs, where they talk about Matthew growing suspicious of their connection. “Tatanggalin natin ang duda sa isip niya,” Stella assures Vincent. But before they can head back, Stella notices Matthew still peeking at what they are doing, making her kiss Vincent once again.
