The selection process of Task Force Alpha’s newest members begins, led by Marcus (Richard Gutierrez) and Lara (Bela Padilla), with Allan (Gerald Anderson) and Director Azuelo (Rommel Padilla) also taking part.
Among the candidates, Allan is specifically in favor of Usman (Ejay Falcon), given that he is a Muslim. In disbelief, Marcus harshly criticizes Allan’s seemingly self-serving intervention but is stopped by Lara and Director Azuelo.
Moments after Marcus is escorted outside, followed by Director Azuelo, an enraged Lara is left alone with Allan. She questions more of Allan’s arrogance, and while she’s aware of his mysterious influence, she warns him to not disrespect her fallen Task Force Alpha colleagues.
In response, Allan clarifies that he isn’t being rude but is simply fulfilling his role. Lara once more stresses that Allan doesn’t know enough about Task Force Alpha, which is why it was easy for Marcus and her to feel infuriated.
Viewing Lara’s reaction as ironic, Allan then speaks about the innocent lives lost during the Zamboanga operation, particularly the children. He declares that he’s as furious as both Lara and Marcus but points out the lack of compassion for the Muslim community that suffered in their hands.
Speechless, Lara only gives a demeaning look before she walks away.
