So, what songs keep her company on walks, daily tasks, or those moments when she needs a mood-lifting melody? In this exclusive, she reveals her go-to playlist picks and the tracks that instantly brighten her day.
Lella admitted that she is a huge fan of Rico Blanco, naming his 2008 release “Antukin” as her go-to track. Her current OPM pick is “Tensionado” by Soapdish, which she often belts out during bath time, fully immersed in the song.
Music is a big part of Lella Ford’s day-to-day routine. While doing household chores, she usually plays “Just The Way You Are,” the dance-pop hit by Milky. On her way to work, she leans toward jazz, saying the genre helps ease her mind before starting the day.
Meanwhile, “End of Beginning” by Djo is her top choice for strolls and random walks. “’Pag napapakinggan ko ’yun, ang dami kong nare-realize,” Lella said. A song that brings her good vibes is “Upside Down” by Jack Johnson, an anthem that radiates positive energy and lifts one’s mood. Shifting to the classic oldies-but-goodies category, Lella revealed her favorite: “Dreams” by Fleetwood Mac.
Any songs by pop icons Beyoncé or Rihanna motivate Lella the most. Drawing from one of her favorite releases, she even sang a bit of “Haunted” before turning shy. Lastly, when asked which song reminds her of cherished memories, she revealed that it was “Middle” by DJ Snake, saying it takes her back to the childhood she spent with her cousins.
