A drunk Lara (Bela Padilla) recalls the harrowing words of Gen. Carillo (Bodjie Pascua), telling her to stop disappointing him. She also remembers the blatant murders of the Rosales brothers as well as Felix’s (Baron Geisler) seething statement about how he is only fulfilling his duties and reminding her of their crucial mission.
Unbeknownst to the struggling Lara, Felix quietly watches her from outside, sitting in his car with a soft expression that he rarely expresses.
Moments later, Felix sits in the dark inside his home with Coochie, Harold’s (Elmo Magalona) dog. Slowly, he recounts his traumatic memories, particularly when he was severely bullied by his peers, degraded by his father’s friends, and frequently abused by his father.
At some point, Felix’s anger consumes him, and he brutally kills his father with a knife. He then became an aggressive beggar on the streets, murdering people just so he would have something to eat.
A young Gen. Carillo eventually gives him a different life as his student, where he learns to weaponize his rage, not just for self-gain but also for the nation and the people who cannot defend themselves. As soon as he graduated, Felix was instantly recruited into NLEA, especially working under Gen. Carillo.
Back in the present, Felix sweetly talks to Coochie, saying that Lara is just confused about what to feel about Gen. Carillo’s merciless plans. He then voices the necessity of protecting Lara and his hope that one day she will finally learn to love him back.
