Stella (Kim Chiu) saves Vincent (Paulo Avelino) from Claudia's (Sofia Andres) sinister schemes in the April 29 episode of “The Alibi.”
Claudia seizes the chance to take advantage of Vincent by spiking his drink, but her plans falter when Stella arrives and interrupts them. Stella’s purpose for visiting was initially to confess to Vincent about her real connection with Walter (Sam Milby), only to find Claudia getting intimate with him based on what she had seen.
Stella drops her bag, making a noise that causes Claudia to stop and Vincent to slightly regain his senses. Stella attempts to leave, but notices that Claudia had tampered with Vincent’s drink, leaving him looking dazed and pale, which alarms her.
Claudia pulls Vincent away from Stella, but the latter does not back down. When Claudia reaches the edge of the stairs and is about to fall, Stella quickly catches her hand. “Ano, aalis ka o bibitawan kita?” she threatens. Claudia pleads with Stella not to let go, and Stella helps her back up.
“Hindi ka talaga aalis? Pwes, kami ang aalis.” Stella affirms and guides Vincent along as they walk away, leaving Claudia anxious about what just happened.
