At the parking lot just outside of NLEA’s headquarters, Lara (Bela Padilla) approaches Marcus (Richard Gutierrez) about his current progress involving the tedious search for the abducted Datu Rahman (Jaime Fabregas). Keeping his calm, Marcus expresses his understanding of Lara’s insistence on the matter but respectfully explains that all of his previous leads led to nothing.
Lara, who’s been fiddling with her car keys, deliberately drops them on the ground and bumps heads with Marcus. Taking advantage of their apologies to each other as a distraction, she subtly kicks the fallen keys under her car.
The kind Marcus then offers to retrieve Lara’s keys, and when he does, he also finds a familiar GPS tracker underneath the car. Without hesitation, Marcus proceeds to warn Lara about an unknown enemy tracking them both and swiftly destroys the tracker.
