Apart from his beloved wife, Jessy Mendiola, and his dear mom, Batangas Governor Vilma Santos-Recto, another very special guest lit up Luis Manzano’s birthday celebration in the pilot episode of “Kapamilya Deal or No Deal”—his adorable daughter, Isabella Rose, fondly known as “Peanut.”
After revealing the amount inside the chosen briefcase of Jessy and Vilma, and just before wrapping up the episode, Luis noticed Peanut enter the studio, happiness painted onto her face. Jessy picked her up, while Vilma enthusiastically welcomed her and asked for a kiss.
Surrounded by the 20 “Lucky Stars” holding colorful balloons, Luis shared his birthday wishes before blowing out the candle on his cake.
“Wish ko is, siyempre uunahin ko ay ang kalusugan ng aking pamilya at kalusugan ninyong lahat. At sa dinami-dami ng nangyayari hindi lamang sa Pilipinas kundi sa buong mundo, ituloy-tuloy natin ang pinaka kailangan ng mundo ngayon—ang pagmamahal,” he said, before getting interrupted by Peanut asking Jessy if a “princess” would come out.
Luis then tried to get a “birthday kiss” from his daughter, to which she sweetly obliged—though she quickly became shy afterward, prompting him to joke, “Wala bang ibang bata na talent diyan?”
He ended the episode by thanking everyone part of the show, as well as expressing his love for Vilma, Jessy, and Peanut.
