He was not just playing for himself, but also for his chosen charity, which had been completely devastated by a typhoon at that time. He shared that he saw the opportunity to join “Deal or No Deal” as a way to help his beneficiary.
Choosing case number 3, Gerald started with intensity, instantly eliminating the million-peso prize on his very first pick. As the game went on, his chances grew slimmer, and by the time he reached the final negotiation with the Banker, he was left with ₱1 and ₱50. Declining the offer of ₱32.45, Gerald ultimately ended up with just ₱1 in his case, even after being given the option to swap briefcases.
Angeline Quinto and Erik Santos
OPM singers Angeline Quinto and Erik Santos put their friendship to the test with tough decisions and the thrill of a game show. Known as the King and Queen of Teleserye Theme Songs, Angeline and Erik expressed their gratitude to their supporters, especially for the opportunity to reach audiences and let their music resonate.
The two started on a light and exciting note, eliminating the lower values early on. However, their chances began to shift when they picked higher-value briefcases. In an unexpected twist, they had to carefully consider whether to accept the ₱140,000 offer from the Banker, as only two cases remained—₱1 and ₱400,000. In the end, they rejected the Banker’s deal and went home with just ₱1 from their own case.
Ria Atayde and Tanya Garcia
Tanya Garcia and Ria Atayde also became part of the roster of players on “Deal or No Deal.” They talked about their teleserye at the time, “Ningning,” and opened up about their experience working with their talented co-stars. They also had some of their family members watching and cheering for them in the audience.
In the first round of briefcase openings, Ria and Tanya immediately lost their chance to win ₱1,000,000 when they chose it to be revealed. Asia’s Nightingale, Lani Misalucha, became the player of the day. She expressed that stepping onto the stage made her both nervous and excited. To ease the tension, Lani shared that she felt beyond grateful whenever she was honored as one of the country’s pride in singing, proudly representing not just the Philippines but the whole of Asia.

Halfway through, however, she unfortunately opened the top prizes, leaving her with only ₱1 and ₱5 on the money board. Lani remained persistent, even declining the Banker’s offer of ₱3. Jolina Magdangal and Mark Escueta
Real-life couple Jolina Magdangal and Mark Escueta joined the thrill of “Deal or No Deal,” marking their first time on the show. Minutes before the excitement began, Mark and Jolina brought kilig vibes to the studio as they shared how their relationship started and eventually led to marriage.
While their love story delighted the viewers, their game journey was not as fortunate as they had hoped. They were left with only ₱1 and ₱5,000 in play, with the Banker’s final offer at ₱2,900. Mark and Jolina chose “No Deal” and ultimately ended up with just ₱1.
Yam Concepcion
One of the lucky stars, Yam Concepcion, was chosen to take on the challenge as player of the day, attempting to clinch the million-peso prize. Yam was speechless, already feeling the tension creeping in.
She kicked off quite well. However, she slowly lost the high-value cases, leaving ₱1 and ₱200 in play toward the end. The Banker offered ₱101, but Yam remained unfazed and continued to play, ultimately ending up with ₱1. Despite the outcome, Yam admitted that she was still happy.
